Quoted from my keto for diabetics group “After 2 years of being plant based and trying to get my blood sugar under control I was getting frustrated. I was tired of eating stuff that wasnโ€™t fulfilling and craving sweets like crazy. Itโ€™s only a week in on keto and my blood sugar has been no higher than 120. Sometimes my blood sugar got to almost 300 while plant based.
Now Iโ€™m eating delicious food and my blood sugar is decreasing. Today I had a yummy breakfast. I made my waffles using quest protein powder, only 2 net carbs.
It feels great to find a way of eating that works for ME. All thanks to Dr Jonathan Spages.

Smoothies really help the cravings for sugar. Fruit in general is a good substitute. When I get the craving just have an apple, banana, berries, etc. What I learn best to Dr. Jonathan Spages is to not buy the bad food in the first place. You can’t eat it if it’s not in your cupboard/fridge.
