Can you radically lower your medication expense if you are diabetic?

In this video, Dr. Spages explains some of the recent changes happening with the healthcare system in the United States. Can you Lower Medication Costs if you are Diabetic?

He goes over why the lowering of costs of medication isn’t necessarily a good thing for Type 2 Diabetics.

It may sound like the lessening of the cost of medication is great news for a Type 2 Diabetic.

However, Dr. Spages has a different point of view on the topic. Even though the costs are lower, the person still has to be on medication for the rest of their lives.

Do Diabetics really want to live on medication for the rest of their lives? Is medication really handling the root of the problem when it comes to Type 2 Diabetes?

Dr. Spages does not think so.

It is commonly known that the purpose of medication is not to heal. The purpose of medication is to prevent the disease from getting worse and many times to cover up the disease.

Medication does not solve the issue.

Dr. Spages believes that the only way to really lessen the costs of healthcare is by completely fixing the problem. In order to do this, it must be discovered “why” the person became diabetic in the first place.

Dr. Spages does this by doing extensive lab work to figure out what in the body is not working properly.

Dr. Spages has been providing his patients with excellent care by finding out why they are actually diabetic and then fixing it. As a result, the disease reverses and the person is no longer a diabetic.

Therefore, they no longer need to be on any medication and their medication costs cease to exist.

Their medication costs get lowered!!

In conclusion, fixing the root of the problem when it comes to Type 2 Diabetes is the only way to return to health.

There are no health care costs when medication isn’t needed on a daily basis.
